Our Cross Training session last Friday couldn't have been better. We pushed hard and worked out for a solid 90 minutes...ugh!! We met with Elisa (AKA "speedy"), she really pushed us and made us go harder then I thought was possible. We started with 20 minutes of stairs (envisioning the PA green lush mountain tops), then we used the spinning
bikes for 20 minutes, jump roped and did ABs for 20 minutes, and Lisa and I finished it off with 30 minutes of laps and treading! Its the kind of training we need to be doing this season, the GGB's are really stepping things up this season, and we are pretty excited about it!

On Sunday Morning Lisa and I met for a 9 mile run. Which went REALLY great as well. We really enjoyed ourselves and had a FANTASTIC run, our run made me feel very confident going into the 5 mile race this weekend and the half marathon next weekend. There was only one small fall during the run, lisa slipped on a grouchy patch of black ice, I actually slipped on the same spot and almost fell on top of her, but fierce Lisa picked herself, and up dusted herself off smiled a little smile and we continued on our way (No lip Snarl! YAY!)! For the second half of our run the sun was really shining and we both got a little sun burnt on our faces :)!
Its going to be a fun competitive season! I can feel it!
